Description

Culture Days: FREE screenings of Shaw Media-Hot Docs projects for Culture Days 2015.

Seven years after their collaborative effort Manufacturing Landscapes, award-winning filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier once again team-up with photographer Edward Burtynsky to present a startling and visually-sumptuous new documentary that acts as a perfect companion piece to their earlier work. Watermark focuses on our relationship with water and how this relationship is forever changing in a “progressing” world. Shot in stunning 5K ultra-high definition, the filmmakers take us on a beautiful journey around the world as they explore the importance of this often over-looked resource. Robin Smith, Hot Docs

Filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nick de Pencier will participate in a post-screening Q&A.

Tickets: FREE tickets (limit two per person) are available at the Bloor box office. Bloor members can access tickets online by signing in with their member number.

Presented as part of the Bloor St. Culture Corridor Hub for Culture Days.
