Documentary film, live music, Q&A and door prizes!
Ontario adventurer Ian Evans completed an epic journey, cycling 5,000 km in 57 days alone and unsupported across Australia. Ian will introduce the film and hold a post-screening Q&A session. He will be joined by Australian folksinger Peter Shaw who will entertain us with live music and tales from "down under." Peter also provided the soundtrack for the film.
In November, Ian will attempt to ski 850 km from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole. Very few people have ever completed this 60-day trek, hauling 120lb sleds on the coldest and windiest continent on earth. Hear more about this upcoming expedition at the end of the evening. This event is an expedition fundraiser.
Arrive early as we kick off with live music and an introduction by Ian Evans prior to the film screening.
