Three generations enter a turning point in their lives: 62-year-old Michel is retiring; his 23-year-old son Romain, a would-be writer, has just become a hotel security guard; and his 85-year-old grandmother escapes from the retirement home to return to the place where she grew up. Romain accompanies her on her moving journey.

Jean-Paul Rouve dirige avec doigté une Annie Cordy éblouissante, épaulée par Michel Blanc et Mathieu Spinosi, charismatiques dans cette libre adaptation du roman de David Foekinos.
