Shakespeare's Globe on Screen: Featuring productions from London's historic Globe Theatre.
Daringly experimental and grotesquely violent, Titus Andronicus was the smash hit of Shakespeare’s early career. Returning to Rome from a war against the Goths, the general Titus Andronicus brings Queen Tamora and her three sons with him as prisoners of war. Titus sacrifices Tamora’s eldest son to appease the ghosts of his dead sons, and his decision to refuse to accept the title of emperor initiates a terrible cycle of violence. Audiences will be on the edges of their seats from the start to the grisly end.
Performed live on March 26, 2015 at the Globe Theatre. Includes one intermission.
Tickets: $16 (Members: $12, $10, Free)
