Linda Chamberlain has led an unbelievable life. She has lived with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, addictions and diabetes. She was abandoned by her family and lived on the streets of Toronto with her cat. So how does this mental health advocate stay so positive, so full of life, and continue to give so much back to others? In his new film, award-winning director Norman Lofts captures the colourful personality of this pink-haired iconoclast, and profiles her courageous efforts to help those in need of supportive housing.
A portion of the proceeds from this screening will be donated to the newly created Diana Capponi Education Fund at CAMH.
