Doc Soup: Hot Docs' monthly screening series that presents Festival hits and award-winning docs.

King Georges takes you inside the cutthroat culinary world. Struggling against new stars and ever-evolving tastes, world-renowned French chef Georges Perrier is on a mission to save his 40-year-old restaurant, Le Bec-Fin, from becoming obsolete. Refusing to sell, he hires new protégé Chef Nicholas Elmi, but in the chaos of the kitchen Perrier has trouble relinquishing control, meddling whenever backs are turned. Equally touching and hilarious, King Georges is a remarkable tale of passion, aging, art and the difficulties of letting go.

Director Erika Frankel will participate in Skype Q&As at all screenings.
