Despite being one of rock’s most influential bands—ranking third for most consecutive gold or platinum albums after The Beatles and The Rolling Stones—Rush has been largely ignored by critics. Featuring never-before-seen archival footage and new interviews, Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage explores the phenomenon of what could be the world’s biggest cult band.
Martin Popoff, the film's researcher and the author of official biography Contents Under Pressure: 30 Years of Rush at Home and Away will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A.
