Description

JAYU's 5th Annual Human Rights Festival: Using art to share human rights stories and lay the groundwork for positive social change.

TORONTO PREMIERE
A poignant documentary about homelessness in Switzerland, “The Shelter” alternates between nights at “The Bunker,” a shelter in Lausanne, and stories of homeless individuals and families in this Swiss city. These threads weave together to show the practical and every-day challenges of both running a shelter as well as living without employment or a home; together, they also reveal the very real human side of the social issue of homelessness.
