Description

A teacher and visionary whose powerful words who started a global movement, meet the 70-year old Swami who came to New York from India in 1965, bearing a message of peace. Prabhupada brought the meditative mantra of Hare Krishna and shared that the key to happiness, love and freedom was to understand yourself. Soon, he had countless followers, most famously George Harrison, who integrated the Hare Krishna chant into "My Sweet Lord." As the movement grew, so did its resistance and devotees came under threat but it was already too strong. Hare Krishna! gives you the chance to meet the Swami who started it all.
