Description

Inspired by the work of the late artist and curator David Driskell, this illuminating documentary spotlights the indelible contributions of some of the foremost African American artists in today's contemporary art world. From Theaster Gates and Kerry James Marshall to Faith Ringgold, Amy Sherald, and many more, the film focuses on their pioneering work featured in the groundbreaking 1976 "Two Centuries of Black American Art" exhibition held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
