What was it about Milan Kundera’s work that earned him the status of a legendary author? Go beyond the books to discover an author shrouded in mystery, who had not given an interview nor appeared in public for most of the last 30 years of his life.
After weeks of waiting in a café outside his house, a student who devoured Kundera’s works and began to identify with the ideas earned the chance to interview the reclusive author. Through this unique dynamic between reader and writer, we are able to learn more about Kundera’s deeper messages, understanding how and why his stories are still able to provoke startling inner reflection.
