Description

This Film Should Be Played Loud: See new, classic and rare music films on the big screen.

Hang out with John, Paul, George and Ringo in this full evening straight from the heyday of rock'n'roll, taking place in conjunction with our upcoming run of The Beatles: Eight Days a Week. A Hard Day’s Night captures the astonishing moment when The Beatles officially became the singular, irreverent idols of their generation. Directed with raucous, anything-goes verve by Richard Lester and featuring a slew of iconic pop anthems, including the title track, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “I Should Have Known Better,” and “If I Fell,” A Hard Day’s Night is quite possibly one of the most deliriously entertaining movies of all time.

Arrive early as DJ Moe Berg (of new Canadian supergroup The Trans-Canada Highwaymen) spins a set of classic rock.

8:30 PM: Doors Open
9:15 PM: Screening

Doc & Beer Combo: $18 (Members: $14, $12, $6), includes screening, a can of Mill Street and a large popcorn.

Co-presented by Sonic Boom.
