The late editor-in-chief of Italian Vogue, Franca Sozzani continuously pushed the boundaries of fashion, beauty and art for nearly 30 years. Never shy of mixing fashion and politics, Sozzani is famous for her groundbreaking and controversy-courting issues that tackle hot-button topics like diversity in fashion, plastic surgery, environmental disasters and drug abuse. Sozzani’s son, Francesco Carrozzini, explores her life, career and creative process, as well as their own relationship, in this remarkably touching and intimate film. Naturally, he also gains access to some of the most influential figures in the fashion industry including Karl Lagerfeld, Naomi Campbell, Valentino Garavani and Bruce Weber.
In Italian, English and French, with English subtitles.
Co-presented by Italian Contemporary Film Festival.
