Journey back to the origins of hip hop in New York in the early 1980s and follow graffiti artist Zoro (Lee Quinones) as he is commissioned to paint the stage of a huge rapper’s convention by an East Village art fancier (Patti Astor). Wild Style captures a remarkable frozen moment in time when hip hop culture was still in the streets and had yet to take over the mainstream. Featuring appearances from pioneers such as Grandmaster Flash, Fab Five Freddy, Busy Bee, The Cold Crush Brothers and more, this is a glimpse into the formative chapter of the Hip Hop Nation.
