With the threat of Trump's border wall looming, five friends embark on a remarkable 1,200-mile journey through the Texas borderlands to document the diverse ecosystem that would be devastated by the construction. For this mission of conservation, award-winning filmmaker Ben Masters (Unbranded) recruits National Geographic explorer Filipe DeAndrade, ornithologist Heather Mackey, river guide Austin Alvarado, and conservationist Jay Kleberg to travel by foot, mountain bike, horse and canoe across the stunning landscape. But as the team enters the more populated Lower Rio Grande Valley, they are forced to confront the human side of the immigration debate.
Followed by a Q&A with producer Hillary Pierce, hosted by award-winning author and journalist Rachel Giese.
