Coming out of New York's infamous Queensbridge projects, Ron Artest (now known as Metta World Peace) was a highly touted basketball prospect who eventually became an NBA All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year. On November 19, 2004, his life turned upside down. During a game in Michigan, Artest retaliated against a disruptive fan, charging into the seats and instigating one of the most violent incidents in American sports history. Featuring appearances from former teammates Lamar Odom, Jermaine O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, and a candid sit-down interview with Metta himself, Quiet Storm is not your typical celebrity rise-and-fall story. It plunges beneath the surface to examine an athlete ready and willing to come to terms with his reality, battle his demons and become a driving force for advocacy in an era where male athletes are just now engaging in discussions about mental health.
