Description

All mayors face challenges when it comes to making sure their city and their constituents are happy and feel heard. In his second term, Musa Hadid—the mayor of the Palestinian capital of Ramallah—works on the ground, directly addressing his citizens’ everyday concerns. But he isn’t just facing issues with sidewalks and sewage; he also has the seemingly never-ending task of trying to end the occupation of Palestine. Hadid’s candour and charisma show a deep sense of care for the city and the people within it. He approaches his duties, be it a simple local fix or far-reaching political policy, with a level head and a drive for progress. We follow alongside the unique and charming mayor, getting a look at an individual who is determined to grow his city and rise in the face of overwhelming odds. Gabor Pertic
