Welcome to Hot Docs Festival Online! Although we can't come together in person this spring, we're excited to bring you over 140 official 2020 selection for Hot Docs Festival Online.

From May 28 to June 6, Ontario audiences can stream documentary premieres, watch pre-recorded filmmaker Q&As, partake in virtual live events, and vote for the audience awards—all on hotdocs.ca. Plus, a large selection of titles will be available for an extended post-Festival viewing window until June 24.

We know that digital streaming is new to many of you and want to make sure that your Hot Docs online experience is a good one. To help you prepare for the Festival and test your streaming setup, we have recorded this FREE short three-minute welcome message from Hot Docs executive director Brett Hendrie.

To get started, click on the GET FREE TICKET TO STREAM button above.  

Once you have a FREE ticket, you can stream this short video to your television using Apple TV or Roku, or on your computer, mobile device or tablet. This same process can be used for the films during the Festival.
