A leading figure in Canada’s cultural and political life, the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, PC, CC, CMM, COM, CD has had a rich and distinguished career in broadcasting, journalism, the arts and public service. Madame Clarkson was the 26th Governor General of Canada from 1999 to 2005 and is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards in recognition of her outstanding contributions in professional and charitable endeavours.
