Description

One of the first major documentaries to recount the beginnings of the COVID-19 outbreak, the wholly engrossing 76 Days takes you deep inside the frontlines of the outbreak in Wuhan, China just days after the January 23, 2020 lockdown went into effect. Throughout four different hospitals, we encounter the indelible stories of those at the center of the pandemic, from a woman begging to bid a final farewell to her father to a nurse determined to return personal items to families of the departed. These raw and intimate testimonies bear witness to the death and rebirth of a city under siege, and to the human resilience that persists in times of profound tragedy.
