This short-film double-bill features the captivating and intimate work of up-and-coming Cree director Alexandra Lazarowich. Alexandra’s latest short film Lake premiered at Hot Docs 2019, as part of the 5 Minute Feminist Film Program. Her most recent documentary, the exhilarating Fast Horse premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and won the Special Jury Award for Directing—officially confirming her as a filmmaker to watch in the future of Alberta film and beyond.
