The jury’s subsequent acquittal of Stanley unleashed a public outcry advocating for reforms in the Canadian legal system. With great sensitivity, Hubbard follows the Boushie family in their pursuit of justice from national to international stages, bearing witness to the stark history of colonialism endured by First National Peoples.
