The last year of high school is supposed to be memorable, but for the class of 2020, it was historic. Just as the traditional stress of extracurriculars, standardized testing and university applications mount for the seniors at Oakland High School, their last semester is eclipsed by the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing them home to finish their final year online. Virtual prom and online graduations are a few of the many milestones they celebrate behind a screen, but their fearless drive to change high school for the better continues with their final activist campaign to remove police officers from school.
