Description

In this love story born in the midst of war, two FARC-EP combatants, Cristian and Yimarly, meet and fall in love. As the peace accords between FARC-EP and the Colombian Government begin to play out, the young couple is filled with hope at the opportunity to start a new life and a family together. But soon they come to realize that love outside of the ranks in military is not as ideal as they imagined. Having to build a home and find work proves to be an almost insurmountable challenge, as they must make difficult decisions that could tear them apart. With a baby on the way, the political climate escalates as many former FARC-EP guerillas fear for their safety. Will young love be enough to hold their family together as they walk down this uncertain road? Heather Haynes
