In this beautifully eerie visual poem, the life and times of Black Brazilian slave Timóteo are preserved for eternity. In life he was silenced, but filmmaker Rodrigo Ribeiro ensures that his voice will resonate far into the future. Using archival images, a suicide note and sound, a voice from the past is awakened.
