While walking on the street in Halifax, young gay musician Scott Jones was brutally attacked, and left paralyzed from the waist down. His assailant was never prosecuted with a hate crime. Forced to confront a new reality, he embarks on a brave and precarious path to recovery—all captured on camera by his best friend, Laura Marie Wayne. What follows is an intimate, poetic and deeply moving story of transformation, and an urgent meditation on the queer experience. Scott courageously shares his journey and musical talent with the hope that his life can be a positive example for others facing their own challenges and reassure them they're not alone.
