Now celebrating its 25th anniversary with a glorious new restoration, this beloved documentary about the Star Trek fan-nomenon is hosted by Denise Crosby of Star Trek: The Next Generation and offers a delightful, often hilarious portal to a galaxy where dentists drill in Federation garb and the debate over Trekkies vs. Trekkers rages. Our opening night screening, Friday, October 14, 6 p.m., will feature a live, post-screening Zoom Q&A with the film's host, Star Trek: The Next Generation cast member Denise Crosby, who played Security Chief Tasha Yar in season one and Yar's daughter, Commander Sela, in subsequent seasons.
