Description

Respecting nothing, fearing no one, it watches through your window, peering through the cracks in your curtains, stalking you at 2 am. No matter what you do, you can’t fight THE MOONLIGHT.

This 2000 cult horror tracks an innocent pizza waitress from Jersey as she walks into hell: the New York rental market. Amidst rats, shrieks and sirens she fights for her dream: to be adjacent to fame. But even a future songwriter to the stars needs cold hard cash; watch this newborn doe descend into the seedy underbelly of NYC’s most seductive and dangerous scene: sexy bar dancing. Can she escape the siren song of a living wage? The distraction of an orphan Australian? The menacing spectre of her man-child father? OR WILL SHE FIGHT THE MOONLIGHT?

Doors Open: 7:00 PM
Show: 8:00 PM

Hosted by Bernita Rebeiro & drag star Bom Bae.

*Shooters are being sold by cash only (not at the regular bar, just the in-cinema shooters).

About DFF: At Drunk Feminist Films, we would rather laugh than cry our way through patriarchy in pop culture. Join our hilarious hosts for #hottakes and a participatory movie going experience complete with an interactive feminist play-along shout-along game that breaks down everything we love, loathe and find problematic in Hollywood movies. Drinking not required.
