Time to put on your party shoes for a fabulous one-night-only screening of the first season of City Girl Eats The Country, a new reality-food TV series.
In the ultimate fish out of water series, City Girl Eats The Country is a comedic and fashion forward, culinary adventure taking the audience to the homes, farms and barns of “rural folks” in and around the quaint towns of Gananoque and Kempville, Ontario. These kind folks are not quite sure what to make of Toronto’s Soup and Popsicle Queen, Chef Sara Schwartz Geller, and her trusty sidekick, country liaison and sous chef, Jewels Krauss but connections are made, delightful food is enjoyed and “rural lessons” are learned.
With all its quirks and quibbles, City Girl Eats The Country is a celebration of the value of family tradition, food, and the art and beauty of sharing a meal together. It's a show about what brings us together, despite our different upbringings, cultures, and even food preferences.
