Peggy was an extraordinary leader in Toronto’s Irish community for decades. A champion of the arts who spearheaded numerous fundraising initiatives virtually from the moment her Dublin feet hit Toronto's ground in 1954. This biopic showcases early family roots and her gravitation toward the arts. She became of of the first two female on-air presenters on Ireland's national broadcaster and would also become head flight hostess to Ireland's president. She would marry and have two children on Irish soil before crossing the Atlantic. She would leave an indelible mark in the decades ahead and would deservedly be christened the "Matriarch of Toronto's Irish community".

Her involvement and support included Toronto Irish Players, Caravan Cultural Festival (Shannon Pavilion Mayor), The Ireland Fund of Canada (First Executive Director), Toronto Irish Community Awards (Produced & Hosted), Toronto Rose of Tralee (Producer), Irish Special Olympics Team visit to Toronto/Collingwood (Coordinator), Irish Autumn Hooley (Produced & Hosted), Elmbank Cemetery Celtic Cross Initiative, Action Grosse Ile, Ireland Park. And more.

Her peer acknowledgments included selection as St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal (1997), Irish Person of the Year (1998), and Raising Ireland’s Flag at Toronto City Hall in March (2010).

This biopic features interviews with family and members of the Irish community.
