Description

An award-winning memoirist, critic and New Yorker contributor, Daniel Mendelsohn has been called "the best writer and critic at work today" by The New York Review of Books. In this Toronto debut, he joins award-winning critic and University of Toronto English professor Nick Mount to discuss his new memoir An Odyssey, a deeply moving tale of a father and son's transformative journey in reading Homer's epic masterpiece. When Mendelsohn's mathematician father signs up for his son's Homer seminar at Bard College, the older man sets in motion an odyssey both hilarious and heartfelt in what is destined to be the memoir hit of the year.

An Odyssey will be on sale and Daniel Mendelsohn will be signing copies after the event.
