Scottish musician Aidan Moffat is best-known as the frontman of cult indie rock band Arab Strap, but in 2014 he went in a new direction, embarking on an ambitious and divisive solo tour to perform modern re-interpretations of his country’s oldest folk songs. An irresistible road movie set amidst the scenic Scottish landscape, Moffat's journey takes an unexpected turn when 79-year-old folk balladeer Sheila Stewart takes issue with his re-workings and challenges Aidan’s notions of tradition.
