In a remote cove on the Catalan coast of Spain, a culinary revolution erupted: elBulli restaurant redefined the world of gastronomy and gained the status of one of the most influential restaurants in history, making chef Ferran Adrià the king of haute cuisine. At 15, coming out of a poor suburb of Barcelona, Ferran's younger brother, Albert Adrià, reluctantly took a position working in the kitchen. elBulli eventually closed its doors in 2011, but two years later, Albert stepped out of his brother's long shadow with a Herculean creative renaissance, opening five restaurants and building an empire of his own while revitalizing Barcelona's crumbling theatre district. Directors Laura Collado and Jim Loomis serve an appetizing combination of sensation and sibling rivalry while showcasing some of the most magnificent dishes ever caught on camera. Constructing Albert is the perfect blend of behind-the-scenes restaurateur drama and culinary genius profile. Ravi Srinivasan
