To all appearances, Rocío and Aldana are two average Argentine teenagers. After school, they like to hang out with friends, listen to music and go dancing. But in many ways, they're unlike their peers: The two cousins are dealing with the aftermath of appalling sexual violence. At 10, Rocío miraculously survived an attack by a stranger who raped her and set her body on fire. For years, Aldana was molested by her own father. How do you recover your body and mind after such experiences? Rocío and Aldana rely on their bond to each other and their inner resilience to heal. Through acrobatics, theatre and performance art, each teen rebuilds a part of herself and shares her experience with others. Laura Bari's film is a beautiful testament to strength and the restorative power of the imagination. Aisha Jamal
