Description

A former school teacher has lived in five countries—without ever moving from her apartment in Serbia. She remains politically engaged thanks to four TVs permanently set to the news, by helping her grandkids with homework and through everyday acts of moral activism. Dragoslava is a bad-ass baba who believes that to be a moral person, one must also be a political person. She uses humour and storytelling to encourage everyone in her circle to contribute to the world around them. A firm believer that people get the government they deserve, Dragoslava spends her retirement volunteering at polling stations during elections and participating in protests. When Pigs Come focuses on a driven and dynamic woman who continues to learn and teach as she ages, one who's informed and opinionated. Despite having a diminished political voice and presence in society, she does her part to change the world every single day. Angie Driscoll
