In 2018, Yayoi Kusama's mind-blowing Infinity Mirrors exhibit dazzled art lovers at the AGO. Today, the brilliance and wonder of her work is celebrated on Hot Docs at Home. Emerging as a rival to Andy Warhol in the 1960s, the Japan-born Kusama battled with sexism, racism and mental health issues, voluntarily spending over three decades living and working in a Tokyo mental hospital. Now in her 80s, follow her triumphant journey through the art world and seemingly insurmountable personal struggles to become a star whose work inspires people all around the globe.
