THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT follows Jack, a highly intelligent serial killer, and a sampling of the murders he commits over a 12-year period. Matt Dillon stars as serial killer Jack with Bruno Ganz as the mysterious Verge. Uma Thurman, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Sofie Gråbøl and Riley Keough are a few of Jack’s unfortunate victims.
We experience the story from Jack’s point of view; he views each murder as an original work of art. Along the way we experience Jack’s recurring dialogue with Verge – a grotesque mixture of sophistry mixed with an almost childlike self-pity, and in-depth explanations of his modus operandi.
