In the early 1990s, music manager Danny Goldberg agreed to take on Nirvana, a new grunge band from Seattle’s underground music scene. He had no idea that the group’s frontman, Kurt Cobain, would become a rock’n’roll legend. Drawing on Goldberg’s own memories of his friend and collaborator, and intimate interviews with Kurt’s close friends, former bandmates and family—including Cobain's wife Courtney Love—Serving the Servants is an unprecedented glimpse into the life, work and brilliance of one of the 20th century's musical giants.
