Arvo Pärt, the most-performed living composer in the world, is considered to be something of a recluse. In this rare profile, get to know the man who believes that it’s not through words that a great artist communicates, but simply through music. At the heart of That Pärt Feeling is the Estonian composer’s intense collaboration with the Cello Octet Amsterdam, which reveals the harmonious, spiritual, and minimalistic approach he takes to his music and sheds a bright light onto his universe.

In English, Dutch, German and French with English subtitles.

Countertenor Daniel Taylor will participate in a post-screening discussion featuring short performances, led by Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts at The Royal Conservatory.
